    A couple of questions..

will be looking to buy a new system around Early november(birthday ), anyhow was wondering when will ya be offering windows 7 as the OS(retal verison), with the stress tests and the normal stuff, had a horrid time with Vista, don't want to repeat it.

P.S ye i know W7 isn't Vista, but better safe then sorry.

    Hi Ganty,

Whilst W7 is certainly heading this way, we still can't give out an exact date it's due to be released to retail as last min changes can and do happen. The date for release to corporate users is quite soon through, so we fully expect that the retail edition will be made available to the public prior to November so it should be ready to ship with your system around then.

    Re: A couple of questions..

my plains have kinda had a kick up the arse, my Current GPU is on it's last legs(refuses to play anything 3d, not even Football Manager :-|).

did e-mail ya some questions if ya get time to reply to em, would be greatful.

do have 1 more tho, my 8800 gtx burning out/over heating to death it seems, made me wonder, how save/stable is the OC on scan systems? would rather avoid any needless problems.

/me Awaits Windows vista to change into Windows 7

couple of notes tho, noticed the Antec 1200 is out of stock, would consider a Cosmos S in it's place if needed, Cooling is my main worried(8800 gtx burning out reinforces this ), and i'm not asking to get Win 7 Before launch, would just be nice to order

    Re: A couple of questions..

I'm going for something similar on the 22nd like you.

I think you'd be happier with your computer overall though if you buy an SSD rather than a £150 sound card. If you can find a little more money they ideally I'd go with the £75 sound card and an 80GB SSD.

    Re: A couple of questions..

had the PC for nearly 2 days(build number:29126), after alittle hiccup with e-scan..all was fine til it went to black/grey lines in middle of gameplay, didn't see the error msg but did manage to find a dump file. http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?2myyxjyrdhm.

    103009-16536-01.dmp 30/10/2009 20:42:20 0x00000124 00000000`00000000 fffffa80`06eaf038 00000000`00000000 00000000`00000000 ntoskrnl.exe ntoskrnl.exe+4a63cc NT Kernel & System Microsoft® Windows® Operating System Microsoft Corporation 6.1.7600.16385 (win7_rtm.090713-1255) x64

also - did try to run Win7 Performance Tester after it, it wouldn't complete due to Driver/OS or other component error.

a quick google shows that the error is hardware related, have reverted to stock as a temp fix, but would like to get it sortted asap, also would like to know if just using stock settings will solve it (willing to keep it at stock )

    Hi Ganty

I have emailed you an update through our query system, the memory has been replaced and this is being tested today, the system will need to be prime 95 tested tomorrow and you are considering changing the VGA card which we are awaiting confirmation of
