Many thanks, does the bundles mean the cpu cooler is already fitted on the motherboard or do I have to put the cpu cooler myself when it arrive ?
I can see there is H80 (new corsair H80 water-cooling) might be better option for 4.6GHz overclocked (is it Hyper-Threading enabled or disabled ?)
Are there any configurations of the 2600K available with more than 8Gb of RAM? Before my recent holiday I was tracking one with 16gb but the most I can find now is 8Gb which is the same as my current system (4 years old) so won't feel like an upgrade and falls short of my "three times better" condition for upgrades (e.g. in the idea world I'd be wanting 24Gb).
-- and yes, I could make use of that due to the nature of software I develop...![]()
i ordered an Edge - Intel Core i7 2600K - Overclocked to 4.7Ghz and after no reply or updates for 4 days. gave them a ring and they said it would be delivered next day (which it was) Only to find the mother board has a slight curve in it now and it appears that it hasn't been over clocked at all so could of saved my self £100 just by buliding it myself NOT A HAPPY PERSON!!!!
Actually, aside from the actual issue of a bent motherboard, I'm more concerned with the suggestion that a setup specifically purchased as overclocked and tested has quite obviously not been!
Now the summer is over, I too am about to put my feet in the water for a new system and previously the Scan bundles were top of my want list!
Hi Guys,
Just want to know which is the best buy for overclock bundles. Intel P67 or Z58 chipset. My budget is around £350 incl. vat. Many thanks.
what is the best bundle for mutimedia without overclock. I am going to use the PC for Praise and worship in the Church. I don't want to overclock as it may give trouble during live worship? What is also the best budle for video editing? Please help?
Many thanks,
Capt. Jose
