    3XS System Graphics

I am looking at specifying one of your 3XS systems. I am just curious as to why you default to Nvidia graphics? Do you favour their hardware over ATI?

    Regards

You can pick any graphics cards you like It's just their system configuration has a few select options.
Kalniel: "Nice review Tarinder - would it be possible to get a picture of the case when the components are installed (with the side off obviously)?"
CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."
TKPeters: "Off to AVForum better Deal - £20+Vat for Free Shipping @ Scan"
for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.

    Re: 3XS System Graphics

You have to default to something!

Seriously I think it depends upon whoever sets up the configerator for the given spec. I can't speak for the gaming guys but when I'm doing audio systems, then the is some known minor Catalyst issues with one or two applications that makes me not wish to use them as standard.

Not every user has a deep understanding of hardware and when it comes to video (at least in my field) people will just go with what's pre-ticked. By setting the systems up like that it can stop issues further down the line.

I've had people choose a card that's known to not play nicely with their client and I've had some not very fun phone call's trying to explain what's going on and why their business now has down time, so for me at least it's a headache saver.

It could just be that whoever set the spec up prefers to work with the nvidia cards and drivers. It's not an intentinal thing (and we do, do some very good systems based around ati specs) but simply it goes with whatever the spec designer happens to have as a personal preference at the time. You can of course change it to what ever you want either in the config section or over the phone when you order.
