Double delivery charges on a 3XS system!

Could someone tell me why Scan charge you twice for shipping a custom 3XS system? There's the standard £25 charge which is shown at the bottom when configuring your system and then after you've added it to the basket, Scan charge you an extra £9.43 carriage charge. Surely paying £40 (inc vat) to have a pc delivered (w/o display) is unfair?

Hello,

The citylink charge is refunded as soon as the system has been purchased, we are making amendments to the back end to remove this charge once it see's the orders for a 3XS system.

Thanks for clarifying that Phillip. However another question: being a member of a certain forum gives me free delivery on all Scan orders more than £20. Does this mean that the £25 delivery charge can be waived on a 3XS system if I order through the forum in question?

I would need to double check this, however my gut feeling would be no maybe a partial reduction in the fee but not 100%.

The reasoning is that City links service is standard next day delivery whereas this is an premium service,

Yeah same here it charged me £17.88 for saturday delivery on top of the 25 pound.
