    Exclamation Please....when will the system arrive.......

    I ordered a system on the 20th November, and not having heard anything on the 26th chased up 3XS. Philip had a good chat with me on the phone and did highlight that they were very busy and that would try to get the system to me as soon as possible. He also sent through a nifty system tracking tool, that I logged into every day or to check progress.....or as it turned out lack of progress!!

    A chaser email on the 7th December saw a spurt of progress with the system quickly moving through to quality control on the 10th December coincidently was the delivery date (note that 24 hour burn in took less than 24 hours, but hey I am in a rush now!) - and there it is stuck! Chase call today to see what is happening - but no response yet.........should be a good system when it arrives - and no doubt the £1700 is earning a small amount of interest at the bank for them!!

    Come Philip and team get the skates on !

    Sorry for the delay in having your system dispatched, due to the time of year and the upcoming VAT rise we have been inundated with system orders.

    Please rest assured the 3XS team are doing everything possible (including working very late and weekends Sat/Sunday) to have your system with you ASAP.

    Hey ho - just expect now that the next round of snow will put the spanner in the works.......here wishing for no snow.....

    ok we are out of quality assurance today, although no call yet from the delivery team. lets hope that things continue to progress.

    Ok here's a quick update. System speedily went through to despatch after a chase, and I have been contacted by the delivery firm - should be here on Tuesday - weather permitting. However as usual with delivery firms they don't know when!

    So here's the rub, it is now a month since I ordered the machine. So if you want one before the VAT rise order now, but don't expect to see it for some time.....

    im still waiting on netsolve to give me a delivery date today because im really hoping i can get it in a day or so or the very least before xmas

    well, it arrived on Tuesday yahoo! Netsolve suddenly gave me a time (between 9 and 10) to deliver after a chase the night before. Sure enough they arrived as forecast = unbelievable for a delivery company so nice work there!!!
    PC is awesomely fast - the slight niggle is the fact that the user and program data should have been set up on the data drive not the SSD. It is surprising difficult to change this requiring a reinstall with an unattend xml file!!
    However the construction seems very good and after all the waiting the PC is very good!

    Hi Matt,

    Sorry about the User Data folders not being located on to the Data drive which Phil is looking in to.

    You can change the default location of each of the folders for the user data by following the instructions below. For the program data some of the software installs require the programs to be installed on the C: Drive so cannot be moved. The only way to change the locations is to uninstall and reinstall the particular software and any new software that you install choose to do custom install so you can specfiy the drive you want to install too.

    1. Click on Start and click on your username or administrator.
    2. This will open a Windows with all the folders for your documents such as Contact, Downloads etc.
    3. If you then Right click on each folder and click on Properties and click on the Locations Tabs.
    4. Change the location drive letter ie. C:\User\Namez\Contacts to E:\User\Name\Contacts where E: is the drive letter you want for your Data drive and then click Apply and say yes to move your Data.
