Best Home Theatre PC??? What to buy?

Hi There,

We are looking to buy a PC to create a home theatre. This would be for watching HD TV, DVD's and Streaming Movies etc.. It would be great to be able to record TV also. We have 2 TV's in the house, so is it then better to also something that can stream from this PC to another base?

Quite a novice to this but sick of paying so much money for SKY and would prefer to invest in the hardware.
