I'm looking at a i7 2600k @ 4.7ghz bundle... but what sort of care goes into the overclocking. Is it done bit by bit, upping voltages, or is it more the turn it all the way up 1st time around and see what happens?
I obviously want an overclock with the lowest possible temps and voltages, but do not have the time to do this myself whilst working. I'm worried that a Scan overclock might just be whack it to the max voltage and hope it runs.
Can anyone share some insight into the process?
