    Firewire audio card problem

I recently bought a 3xs NF68 PowerDAW custom build audio machine.
I ordered the machine with a LYCOM PE107 PCIe firewire card. Every since the machine arrived i've been unable to get any firewire device to connect to this machine using the Lycom card. I've looked for known issues, driver problems, etc and other machines work fine with my MOTU828 mk2 (firewire 400 card) and other firewire 400 external hard drives. The Firewire card drivers seem to be working but when I connect any firewire device via Firewire 800 (using a 9 pin to 6 pin adapter) or directly to the 6 pin firewire 400 I/O on the Lycom card no devices are recognised. IT seems to be a card problem. Any help would be great with this.

    Re: Firewire audio card problem

    Hi Tim,

I think I know the problem and if its what I think it is, it'll be related to the FW drivers themselves. I see you submitted a OLQ with the problem over weekend, so I'll forward you back the potential solution now.
