Hi all, wonder if anybody could give me some advice.

I am, about to add a SSD (Sandisk 256Gb) to my 3XS machine (Asus P8P67Pro mobo, OC'ed i7 @4.5Ghz, 8Gb) as the main system drive.

My BIOS is version 1305 and there is a newer version available - but according to the Asus website the only real benefit would be 'Improved System Stability'. Given that I have had no issues with instabilities I am thinking I don't need to mess with the BIOS - especially as this would screw over my Scan OClock.

Having said that I did read somewhere that I should remove the overclock in order to prevent corruption when setting up the SSD - does this advice seem accurate?

I am downloading the latest chipset drviers from the Asus site (albeit very sllooowlly) and so will install these once I get the SSD installed with Win7.

Appreciate any thoughts or advice, many thanks
Steve
