    Nice rig

Have you switched back to the non overclocked profile, if so how are your temps now?

SCAN done a fine job with the cabling and the build.

Yeah im on standard profile now and idling at about 40 which is good, but when i run a game it shoots up to 98 according to core temp and up to 77 according to ASUS Probe.

When I quit the game it almost immediately drops back down to 40 (in both asus probe and core temp) suggesting the cooler is indeed working.

Too nervous to play anything tho on it.

    Re: Overheating

Worth talking to technical support as they know the overclock limits for your system.

If you want to play in the meantime switch off stuff such as Tessellation which works the GPU hard.

It's a weird one this... the GPU hardly moves temp at all.
