3XS Nanu gamer - I7 overclock vs cooler

    Hi Scan,
I'm considering this system setup (see below), but am wondering if I ask for a better cooler if the overclock can be increased further, or the system will be more stable / durable? The machine is primarily for CAD and CFD work, but I want to be able to run the pheonix RC flight sim in 3d via a passive 3DTv which i understand is possible with the ATX card albeit still needing a bit of tweaking.

I'm expecting the CFD runs to be loading the processor at 100% for extended periods so if a better cooler will allow me to run faster for longer I'd be wiling t make the investment.

The smaller form factor is of benefit as it'll allow me to take the machine with me on buisness more easily.

    Any thoughts greatfully recieved.

    Best Regards
    Barry M

Re: 3XS Nanu gamer - Ubuntu boot, will the clock still be active?

OK I forgot a minor addendum, openfoam (CFD software) is a unix based or ubuntu application, so ideally I'd like to have a ubuntu duel boot rather than using virtualbox (www . openfoam.com/resources/windows.php[/url]) Will the Overclock hold for a ubuntu boot, or am i wasting my money going for it?

As before any thoughts greatfully recieved.
