Graphite LG1510, left shift key

Hi,

I just purchased a pair of Graphite LG1510 laptops and firstly I'd just like to say that the systems run amazingly well, I'm very happy with the machines and the quick turnaround so a big thanks to Scan for that!

I do have a slight issue with one of them in that the left shift key on the keyboard feels completely different to every other key, and makes a rather annoying "click" sound when pressed. I touch type so the feel of the keyboard is crucial for me. I was wondering, do other Graphite LG1510 users experience a similar issue and is it therefore down to the fact that this particular shift key is larger than just about every other key on the keyboard which leads to this different feel and the noise, or do other users of this machine have a consistent feel to their entire keyboard? The other Graphite laptop I bought at the same time does have a different feel to it's left shift key but doesn't seem as "bad" as this particular one.

Just curious to hear from other owners and maybe from Scan themselves...

Thanks very much for sorting this out. Might as well send the keyboard with the cards as it saves messing about with multiple shipments. Again, can't fault the customer service.

Oh, we will need to collect the faulty keyboard just so we can receive a replacement from Clevo, but we will sort this out at the time.
