So, one could reasonably assume that they would get the copy of Batman as described, yeah? Except, no. I got an entirely useless 'digital download voucher' instead. I wrote yesterday complaining about this, and was told, basically, that if I'd searched around random pages on the site that had zero connection with the product that I bought, I'd have seen that it was just a digital download voucher. The girl then updated the description to include the voucher disclaimer line that you'll see there now.
I wrote back providing XPS printouts of the description of the product as it was when I bought it, which backs up my claim that there was zero mention anywhere about this digital download nonsence, and was told that to phone trading standards and go away.
Someone from Scan want to tell me how this is anything but textbook bait & switch technique? Lure punter in with product X, replace with product Y? I understand that you can normally get away with it by including a disclaimer, but there wasn't one. Doesn't that make Scan's actions kinda illegal?
