RMA Request, no response via E-Mail
I raised an RMA request for the PSU purchased on the 11th of November, and I raised the RMA request in the early hours of the morning on the 16th of November and so far I've heard nothing regarding my request, I heard nothing all day yesterday as I received no correspondence or any messages about it to my E-Mail address.
I was very thorough and sent quite a long message regarding this (which I am going to post on here if by some chance it got lost in your system) when I raised the query it said "Please retain the OLQ number and quote in any further conversations / correspondence regarding this query." that number is OLQ741336, please see below for the information I sent via the website, and hopefully I will here something at some point today as I am still within the 7 day distance selling regulations act to send it back and all I've requested is a replacement, thank you.

Anyway the relevance of all of the above to this rma request is that the same noise (yet quieter than it did on the TX 850) is happening with the Corsair HX 850 purchased from you, now I would have put this down to coincidence but this was 2 different models of Corsair psu's, both from different etailers but both with the same problem, so what my partner did this time was put the HX 850 in a different tower case than his Antec 300 to make sure it wasn't an issue with any of the other equipment he had installed (and the fact that the HX850 was oriented with the fan facing upwards as it has to be that way in the Antec 300 case as the psu is installed at the bottom of those cases) so anyway he put it in a different case where the psu had to be installed at the top of the tower case with the fan facing downwards, he then booted up that pc and the HX 850 still made the same noise yet quieter than it did on the TX 850 that was rma'd back to ebuyer which was very strange as he'd now had it in 2 different cases once where the psu was at the bottom of the Antec 300 case where the fan would face upwards and then in a standard tower case where the psu was installed where the fan is facing downwards and it still had the same noise, it sounds like the fan is catching/clipping on something when the PC shuts down (perhaps the clear plastic fan shroud inside the psu) which according to a review I read is installed in order to direct airflow to the most necessary areas, and my partner wasn't going to risk voiding the warrant just to check if it was clipping/catching on anything.
Now when it comes to testing this psu, I know there won't/you won't find a fault with it apart from the noise I mentioned (as I perceive a fault to be more than just something clipping/catching on something) when it comes to working inside any pc as it ran everything with no issues at all and was extremely stable, and my partner asked me to purchase this psu for him as it came highly recommended from reviews he read (one of those being a review on the Jonnyguru website) the only issue is the catching/clipping noise upon shutdown which doesn't last very long at all but as my partner says, spending this amount of money on any psu you don't expect there to be any problems/issues at all.
So can this psu be rma'd and a replacement sent out as my partner has spoken to Corsair about this and they suggested asking for an Advanced RMA which they say involves you sending out a replacement psu before this one is sent back OR if you sent one out with a courier and at the same time this one be picked up?
Or would it simply be easier just to return this one, as it's still within the 7 days Distance Selling Regulations and purchase another one in an entirely separate transaction? The only issue with that is it would cost roughly £8 or more for me to send this back to you as it's a pretty heavy psu and to purchase another one it would cost about £7 more than it did originally because when purchased via one of your Scanshot E-Mail's it cost £119.57 inc VAT and the full price on the website (not via the link in the Scanshot E-Mail) is £126.26 Inc VAT, which would mean it would cost me at least another £15 just to return and pay an extra £7 for the same psu that's being returned.
I apologise for the length of this message but it was necessary to try and cover all bases and explain the issue with the psu.

Hope I get a response to this soon because I feel I'm being ignored, and if that's the case I'll just send it back via Recorded Delivery get a full refund and purchase elsewhere, because as mentioned I am still within the 7 day distance selling regulations act.
