Received my product this morning only to find that it does not match box shown on scan website and instead of coming with a desktop stand, comes with a approx. 15cm flexible usb cable, making it completely useless with a desktop pc under a desk. just a word of warning to others planning to purchase this item!

I have just spoken to Edimax who confirmed they change the packaging from the Desktop stand to the braided cable. I have brought this thread to their attention and asked if they have a stand they can send to you, unfortunately they don't.

You can of course return the product if it is not wanted and to confirm images are always used for illustration purposes as manufacturer do update products without confirming first, which causes issues like this.

well i will need to return it as it is not fit for the purpose it was ordered for. It wasn't just the website image I went off, I checked the manufacturers website and various reviews regarding this product stating that it comes with the desktop stand and the product description on ther website states 'Includes USB cradle to improve the performanceThis antenna size USB adapter achieves the impressive performance when plugging in USB cradle included in the package.'
What arrangements are there for the colleciton of the product?

ultimately this has changed in the last few days as when I checked the details before ordering friday there was no mention of this and the description still includes the quote given above.

Thanks for arranging the RMA for this, however I only need to return one as one was purchased for someone who is happy to keep it without the adaptor

thanks for getting this organised so quickly and arranging the collection. I'm assuming that the collection is free of charge? Do I need to put anything on the packaging or will city link have all this?

Please put the RMA number and address on the external packaging, one returning is fine.

any idea when the money will be back on my card? i was emailed to say the rma was completed tuesday but have not heard when I will be getting the money back.
