    Yes I know you have not built the machine yet.. I was asking if you had another machine , IE a second PC, which is built you could test the card in.

    not anywhere near my amp.....I am at work now - the amop is at home...it would be just as quick for me to build this machine then test it

    My main machine is seriously plumbed into my recording studio....

    and this card won't fir in my laptop

    I had sort of touched on it the other day before I ordered the mis-described card...but nobody chimed in and I took a chance....

    New stock of the LN 28745 is due tomorrow, we will be checking to confirm we receive the right stock this time.

    Once you have built the system, please test the card to see if the Audio will pass through the HDMI connection.

    System is built and running but I've ordered a longer HDMI lead to test the sound as what i had would not reach my amp...LOL - I built the thing in the office and have tested all video outputs on mt fancy 24" 1920x1200 monitor at work but that can't decode digital sound so must wait for the longer HDMI lead.....the Mrs just wouldn't have the PC that close to the telly/amp etc

    Still not managed to test audio via HDMI as the computer is still in my office...I won't be taking it home until it is transplanted into its new (still to be ordered) case as SWMBO probably wouldn't have this Cit case anywhere near her living room.......
