    RMA - NFF, Please Advise

    RMA Number: 224611

: RMA 224611 Status Notification - Items Tested, No Fault Found

    Sent this with return:
Please find RMA Query 0795710 - {3492140F-60A3-4F83-9DB2-B9D30C175F91} for a Gigabyte Motherboard.
I have tried 2 graphics cards two psus , 2 cpus and 2 hard drives. I have since put a different motherboard (from scan order no 000E848573) in and it all works OK now.
Have had problems booting getting DMA errors. Then problems installing windows and slow boot times. I have tried latest bios and changing the settings in bios. But no joy. It seems to work run slow then I have to plug sata cable in different port. Sometimes get errors on installing windows half way through.

    Follwoing on from this.

So annoying I knew they would just power it on. Seems funny I put another 775 board in comp and all working OK now.

I used to work for a comp mail order company and know they have minimal the testing can be.

    RMA - NFF, Please Advise

Thank You for your post, I can confirm that we did not "just power it on" indeed the RMA tracking feature will give you a full breakdown of the testing we did.

I can confirm in this case we installed Windows 7 fully without encountering any issues at all.

I will also be editing the title of this thread as it is totally un-acceptable.

    The time of emails:

    10.42 item recieved.

11.40 test complete no fault found.

58 minutes from recieved to all testing complete. I spent hours trying multiple cpus hard drives power supplies and different insallation of windows.

I would add that Windows 7 takes less than 20 minutes to install from scratch on a basic system, even less on something cutting edge.

Hi any idea when this is being sent back to me?

I'm in no hurry as my other motherboard is working fine.
