    3xs Bundle - Repeated BSOD's

    Hi All,

Had my 3xs o/c bundle delivered and have finally got it it and running.

Have been experiencing some issues, any idea's?

The only problem that im getting is regular BSOD's.

    So far I have:
    PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA
    SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION
    IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
Another one just occured, this time seems to be linked to HAL :-) Dang that 2001 computer!
clock interrupt not received on secondary processor within allocated time limit

Happens at random, somethimes not even at load,

CPU and MB temps seem ok at idle - (43 for CPU and 30 for MB)

However at load, CPU hits around 72 and MB 60. I know thats ok for the CPU but the mobo?

I took the side off the thing and had good arflow with fan to keep it cool and it still BSOD's and mobo still gets to 60+

So i then put it back to the stock settings, and its as stable as a rock - been running Prime 95 for hours and its not had a single BSOD.

So that would tell me that the O/C isnt stable, as its running like a dream at stock?

    Ta!

Would guess at duff memory. Have you tried running Memtest against it?

    Re: 3xs Bundle - Repeated BSOD's

Been running prime 95 (blend) for ages, doesnt that check the RAM, or is it worthwhile doing memetest?

It would be good if i could identify just one component that can be replaced as taking it all apart again is giving me nightmares!

As is been stable at stock (except 1 BSOD) and seems to be performing well enough at stock (2.8 i5 750) with a GTX 260 @1440x900

Just wondering if its worth persuing a stable overclock to 4ghz?.......Is it going to be more trouble than its worth - its was only £30(Ish) more than just buying the components in the first place......
