    Returns Issue

So far I've been having a similar experience. Forked out 300 quid for a gfx card, to be sent a damaged one that has been dropped or squashed by something heavy being sat on top of it. I refuse to open it so far before I hear word.

Received it on Friday, was in late so I sent notice of damage on Sat morning and still no word. Don't know where I stand now on giving 48 hours notice of damage. And overall seeing other people receive replies on this very forum when my topic has been updated multiple times by me, doesn't built confidence. Of course I am not saying they shouldn't receive their much needed help either and I am happy for them getting their wrongs righted.

I've been holding off on ringing that premium rate 0871 number, but I think I may ring tomorrow before this gets any further out of hand. Paying for the courtsey of getting a wrong doing, corrected. Fantastic.

Anyway, I hope you have some joy with yours rob. Sorry for flooding your topic with my rant, but every time I think about it...

We have received your query sent on the 12 th February. Your situation is different as you have received the goods and they are in your possession, but delivered with damage to the packaging.

Our returns dept will contact you shortly by reply to resolve this issue.

    Apologies for the delay.

    Best Regards

    Re: Returns Issue

No problem Chris, thanks for finally getting back to me. And apologies for the approach in the post above, my patience and worry deteriorated over the days with the wall of silence. As you can see from my other topic "Northern Ireland Subsidised Postage" and my pm to you a day or two ago I started off calm, then nerves got the better of me. I thought I was being passed off.

Anyway, enough rambling, contact is great and saves me phoning tomorrow. So I all is good and calm again for now.

To note: I'll not be able to read/reply to emails and general communication until I get home from work. So please be patient, I can guarantee a reply by 7pm tonight if you require one.

  4. Received thanks from:

    Re: Returns Issue

Thought i'd give this a nudge that I haven't received an e-mail or RMA number yet. I thought now would be best, giving time in case you were sending it this morning. Or to remind you so you can send it today if you've forgot.

Can I expect an e-mail today?

I also thought it would be worth mentioning my other order for an ASUS P8p67 pro and Intel i5 2500k got posted yesterday (which I hope to god is in good condition).

Is there not some way you could authorize my RMA today and get the DPD guy to collect it tomorrow when he is making the other delivery?

Unfortunately if it arrives today I wouldn't be available to package it with it's RMA number .

    Re: Returns Issue

Well, I've received no RMA/reply again today. I should be more questioning now, can I expect an RMA/reply before a week has elapsed on me receving the gfx card with damaged packaging?

Also I will require at least 24h notice on arranging a courier to collect the graphics card as I be out from 7am-7pm and would need to arrange for someone to do the handover for me. thanks

I am also curious, since my order that got posted yesterday is an i5 and p8p67 which are both covered with scansure. Would the scansure countdown still be ticking away right now if it was one of those damaged and I was waiting for a reply?

This is a question I would like an honest answer to. (But please don't neglect authorizing my RMA to answer it)

I am actually quite worried about the same going wrong with them. There wouldnt be any point in me having the scansure if I wanted a month for them to be replaced by damage that was there before I received them.

    Re: Returns Issue

I can not see the issue that would be holding this up. I was sent a damaged product, I ask for a replacement. The next stage to authorize an RMA and arrange a collection seems to be taking over a week to happen. I don't want to be waiting a further week for a replacement either.

Can I get an RMA arranged today or am I going to have to phone tomorrow...
