Did you confirm the model of the unit you have returned as this could be a generic response.

As an end user you may be able to return the item to the manufacturer for exchange, Scan cannot, we can only return the item to our supplier, whom have advised us that the unit cannot be repaired. If you wish I can arrange for the faulty product to be sent to you so that you can arrange warranty service through Gyration directly, alternatively, if you obtain the return information from them and pass it to me through the OLQ I can arrange for the faulty item to goto them directly for exchange as though you were sending it.

Ah much appreciated. I did give them the exact model I own in my enquiry.
So when you sent the unit to Gyration they were only looking at repair? That does make sense.
If you could send the unit on for me to Gyration with the RMA I will obtain that would be superb and would certainly be more than an acceptable resolution to all of this.
I appreciate you being flexible on the return.

Glad this seems to be resolved
Myself and Wesley and been discussing this scenario and we will ensure all available options from manufacturer's, which we may not be able to offer are explained clearly to customer's in future, especially in cases of Market Value Refunds.
