Hello,
I've only just had the chance to inspect a VGA card I received as a warranty replacement from Scan last week (26/04).
Unfortunately, the card is missing two screws that attach the PCB to the cooler.
On the GTX 460, there are 6 screws around the GPU, and two towards the end of the card. In this case, two screws near the GPU are missing (the ones that are meant to go in the middle).
In addition, the PCI bracket (the bit you use to attach the card to the case) is bent in two places. In one place, it's easy to bend back into shape. The other bend is difficult however and I don't want to end up breaking anything.
As I didn't check the card when it first arrived (didn't have any need for it, had purchased another card and was intending to leave this one sealed to maybe sell later), will I still be eligible for a replacement?
Thanks,
Odai.
