As the situation stands. I bought originally a HD 6950 from scan to use with my fairly new build PC, it arrived faulty. I sent it back and after over 2+ (long) weeks later I received another card which worked. I then decided I would crossfire the card with another one. However after the installation of the second card, the crossfire configuration did not work at all - even though I had done all the correct steps and have the correct hardware to do so. Furthermore, I first contacted scan for the return of the card withing the 7 day DOA period regarding a fault, as clearly, the two cards were not scaling in any games I was playing, which is the sole purpose that I bought the second card all together. Also, XFX tested the card to be faulty, but on the scan website it said that the card was faulty - It is rather contradictory as on the returns page on the scan website it says a fault has been found; scan has now written to me saying that that there is no fault.
I have spend over £160 on this second graphics card that doesn't work. Can somebody please inform me if I am entitled to have my money back. I really cannot afford to have a £160 paperweight on my desk.
