I haven't ordered computers parts etc. for a long time so my address is my old address, when I try to update it the website complains there is already account for my current address.
I think it's probably throwing this error up as in the past my account has had my current address used sometimes for orders as an alternate delivery. The order number I've used for making this post proves this.
Now I've updated most of the address, but it won't let me change the post code as that is the key used for logging in I guess. To my knowledge no one else in the household has an account with Scan other than me. I think I have had a problem like this in the past where the "EP" postcode address overwritten the account and I couldn't log in. I have tried a password request for my name + "EP" postcode but I don't recieve an email so I guess it's just a glitch in the system?
Perhaps someone can overide the system and enforce the post code change as I now actually live at the address with postcode ending "EP". Of course I could be creative and just set to deliver to this address anyway, but then my bank card will probably fail its validation check as it's not registered to the old address.
