Thanks for the quick reply Mick.
Yup, that's about right. I'd created a custom fan profile to skip the 50%>75% range, which was where the noise was the most frustrating.
Was told on the phone that you're not selling the 560Ti Hawks any more, what would be a likely resolution for it? *angling to buy a new 660Ti*

Not entirely happy with the outright dismissal of my RMA due to 'Fans clogged, exhausts blocked'.
The RMA is two months old, it's been collecting dust since I completely cleaned it up prior to creating the RMA. A fan bearing has gone as if you stop the fan, the noise stops.
Rejecting an RMA without cleaning and testing seems a ridiculous way to treat things.

BlackDwarf,
It is the end users responsibility to carry out proper maintenance on hardware, this includes cleaning components on a regular basis, I have inspected the card and have given it a thorough clean as the fins were clogged with dust stopping the cooler from working properly, providing that the fault is confirmed we will return the card back to MSI for repair/replacement.
Kind regards,
Hi Mick.
As I'm not happy with the resolution of this RMA, and the increased time it's going to take to resolve, I would kindly ask you to ship the card back to me, and I will purchase a third-party cooler.
Is it possible for you to ship it back to an alternate address, as no-one would be in to receive it.
Regards
