Gigabyte g1 970 screen flicker on display port

Hi Mick,

I've tried the card in another computer and am seeing the same issues.

I'm unable to test a different monitor but I have tried it with my laptop plugged in via display port and everything worked fine.

What's the next step?

Sorry to hear that, best bet is to bring the card in store so we can take a look at it for you, can you confirm if the type of monitor you are using, I.E brand/model and the resolution and refresh rate that the fault occurs under? If you cannot come to the store I would give our returns team a call on 01204 474747 option 1-2-1 and they will raise an RMA for you and make returns arrangements.

Hi Mick,

The monitor I'm using is a Dell UltraSharp U2711.

the native resolution for the monitor is 2560 x 1440 at 60 Hz.

The monitor was working fine with my previous graphics card (PowerColor HD 6950 PCS++ 2 GB) with no flicker.

If I bring it in and it's found faulty will it be replaced or sent off?

Providing the fault is able to be replicated whilst you're in store then we will replace it.

If the fault cannot be replicated there and then we may need to book it in so we can test it over a longer period of time.
