Hello,
I would like to find out the status of my RMA. The RMA # is 349598.
I sent an ASUS MAXIMUS FORMULA V back to scan due to it causing two Intel CPUs to fail, the RMA was rejected to bent CPU socket pins, which I admitted I may have of damaged when putting the CPU socket protective cover back on the board as it didn't want to stay in place.
Anyway, when I asked how to get the board back, I was offered a CPU socket repair service and was asked to fill out a form, sign it and send it back after which I have heard nothing since so I don't know where my motherboard is, if it has been repaired as I've had no contact since February.
I sent the board back on 22nd January 2015 and it was received and rejected by scan on 2nd February 2015, I then filled out the form to have it repaired and was told of a £25 + VAT fee and I asked how to pay this, but received no response, if I need to make payment before the board is repaired, please let me know how I can make payment as I do need this board back now as my back up board is starting to become unreliable.
Otherwise I may need to buy a new motherboard, but if I want the same board it costs quite a bit since it's not longer being made so will no doubt need to buy a latest version as well as a latest processor etc.
If anyone can give me any information as to the status of the RMA, again the RMA number is 349598 that would be great.
Thanks.
