    EVGA stepup programme

    How does this work ?

    If i buy a 8800 GTS 320mb now will i be able to upgrade to a 8900 GTS when it comes out ? (assuming its within the 90 days)

    That's how I read it, but if you buy now and the 8900gts isn't released in the time period, then you're stuck with the 8800 (good card, all the same).

    Good scheme by evga, wish xfx had had it when I got my 7800, something like 3-4 weeks before the 7900 replaced it, doh.

    Yeah, thats how it works in the US (you pay the difference of course lol)

    Just making sure i understand it fully in terms of how it works with Scan in the UK, before parting with the hard earned.

    doesnt work hand in hand with scan you have to send your card off to evga and pay the difference to them.

    Ah fair enough then. Just making sure it wasn't a US only thing.

    I can't open their website to check the details and it's been like this for 2-3 days now.
