Please can you inform us to where this has been posted on here in regards to the P180's actually being P182's ?
Once we have this information we can get the stock checked accordingly to see which we have inside the boxes.
Best Regards,
Specifically we need the Scan SCIL number off the box so we can confirm the supplier the cases came from.

Lee

Will contact him regarding the SCIL number.
thanks for the links. Most Interesting I must say :)
PM'd you both.
Any updates on this? I'm about to order parts for a new PC, including the case, which is to be a P180...or perhaps the P182..
Received we will investigate tomorrow
Regards
mmm i've ordered today for a P180 too, wonder which one i'll get...
Well I got a P 180 and that was 2 weeks ago. Sounds like I've slightly missed it :S
Chris - any updates? (sorry, I'm being impatient..)
Does the P180 have fan controllers on the back and watercooler holes?
I received what I thought was the P180 2 days ago but I might have the P182?
I managed to get the 12pin motherboard power cable behind the motherboard tray too, maybe this is because its larger?
Great!
Here's a piccy I took after building... you can just make out the watercooling holes and right at the top, the back of the fan switches.

EDIT: you can see better in this one...

Can you only use the Tricools with the fan controller or is it possible to hook up other fans?
Thanks.
There are only two switches so only the top and rear fan are wired up.
The fan at the bottom between the PSU and HD's has a switch on a short wire but theres nowhere external for it so you still have to remove the panel to adjust it.
My case and cpu (6600) temps are around 36 degree's and thats with all three fans on low. GPU at 56 degrees.
The supplier has confirmed that this customer has basically been extremely lucky in receiving a P182 cases, P182 cases are not being shipped in replacement of P180 cases.
The P182 cases have not generally been released as yet and pricing has not yet been confirmed.
As soon as the P182 cases are released and pricing confirmed this will be set up under a new SKU.
Best Regards
Thanks Chris.
just received my P180B from scan.... I guess i'm lucky cos the case is defo a P182B it has both the watercooling holes and the tri-fan switches on the back :) GREAT case and a great price too.
I got my silver P180 about 10 days ago, so must have just missed out as well :( Not that I am really too bothered about it, the P180 is still a great case for me. Thanks amjedm for the link. Perusing through it has given me many ideas to improve and tidy my P180...
is it possible to buy P182's and P182SE's from scan

Is there anyway of getting Scan to check existing stock for P182s ?
The boxes are for the P180B so theres no way scan can check unless they open each box and unwrap each case individually.
Funnily enough, I found stories of this happening elsewhere as well for customers of newegg.com.
I guess Lian-Li messed up at the point of manufacture and sent out P182's disguised as P180's. Either that or this is a really sneaky way to get some early market feedback on the modifications :)
Hey Scan-dudes....any update on the P-182?
I want to order the parts to build a new PC, but I'd like to get the P-182 case...
I'm not happy about the price increase - the P182 is going to be more expensive than the P180 from what I've seen :(
I've seen the P-182 special edition on Overclockers.co.uk - looks lurvely, but I'm not interested in paying a premium for a mirror finished case (think of the cleaning overhead - all those finger marks!). I'm hoping the standard 182 won't be much more expensive than the 180....if it is, then I'll be sticking with the 180 I think.
The P180B is priced around £80 and the P182 £105 (not in stock though) - on another site :(
Scan sell the P180B for £78 on Today Only.
Probably as it costs more to buy?
But do you know when you might have any in stock?
Yeah, I know, but I'd rather be certain ;-)
