May not be relevant, but since I reinstalled XP pro on my 3XS system (Abit IN9 32-MAX) the wifi worked (couldn't get it before), but at various times it's claimed the card didn't exist. Seems OK now as long as I don't disable it (which I prefer to do to avoid accidentally connecting.)

Shouldn't you install the card before the wifi driver, so I assume you mean you put the disk in to load the driver now, and the PC still says there's no card?

I put the card in during the system build..then installed drivers from the disk.
I will try the downloadable ones and see if that helps.
I doubt if its Vista 64 bit problem (board is Vista certified) but ya never know.

    I have tried EVERYTHING.
I am convinced this card doesnt like Vista 64 bit.
Very disappointing tbh as this board is meant to be 'Vista Ready'.

If anyone has other ideas then i'd appreciate it.

    Thanks

I am sure with WiFi cards you usually install the software, THEN put the card in, then it completes insalation when you turn the comp back on.

I've definitely seen others get the Airpace running under Vista.
