    buying oem vista with some components

    hey scan guys in afew weeks i need to pick up a couple of hard drives for my pc and probably a new graphics card

    i know you are supposed to buy oem OS with a new pc or components and different sites are stricter than others (aria will sell with a £3 mouse)

    but can i get oem vista with these bits or will i have to buy it somewere else

    I believe the requirements for hardware to purchase should be listed in the info for each Vista version.

    A “fully assembled computer system” means a computer system consisting of at least a central processing unit, a motherboard, a hard drive, a power supply, and a case
    A “nonperipheral computer hardware component” means a component that will be an integral part of the fully assembled computer system on which the individual software license will be installed.

    so a hard drive is integral to my system so it should be ok then

    cheers mate thats all i wanted to know as the info on them is odd and some places will only sell with a whole new pc and all i need is acouple of drives and a dx10 card
