How long for RMA
Hi all,
First post here and its not all about complaining - I have actually been impressed with Scan thus far delivering on time and the whole ordering process and tracking service was great.
I am however a little dissapointed as to the RMA process.
Could anyone give me an idea as to how long I have to wait for the process to complete?
I myself (at my own cost - my choice as I thought it would speed up the process) shipped my DOA goods back, they arrived at 10:25am on Tuesday (confirmed by POD from TNT)...yet it took until 16:02 YESTERDAY for these items to be registered as delivered by Scan!!
As of now the items have not progressed any further so instead of having a great new all singing PC I am left with nothing - I cannot work from home but worse still I have to endure episodes of Eastenders and Coronation Street with the wife instead of gaming at hi-resoluion and even higher fps :)
Please can someone hint at when I should get my E6600 and Fatal1ty MB back!!!!!!!!!!
Many thanks
An almost satisfied first time Customer ;)
***Edit***
Typically since posting my RMA has moved on 1 stage - Do I have an option of speeding things up any further?

I am too waiting for my RMA to be looked at - but don't worry tw9181 they will probably have them checked by the end of the day. They are pretty good with RMAs.
The city link site says they received my package at around 4pm. So hopefully we will both have emails by mid afternoon and you can then sort out delivery for tomorrow.
Good luck!

It seems both my products are in stock - Sat delivery would be fine but cant see Scan doing that??
Monday pre9 is what I would be after - I did save them some money on the collection after all!
Thanks

I managed to get my first replacement delivered on a saturday as thats what I initially paid for. Also it wasn't your fault that the item was DOA therefore they may send it Saturday as it wasn't your fault.

Also how unlucky must I have been to be sent a faulty CPU and MB (I suppose its possible that the faulty CPU blew the MB or vice-versa) :surprised:
Thanks for your comments Mark.
I wonder if anyone from Scan can confirm a delivery date for me??
Many thanks

I am really happy with my system. I recently just upgraded my monitor to a Dell 2407 however the first one was damaged in transit (other than that it was excellent - no back light bleed at all or dead pixels but it had to be sent back). I received my replacement last Saturday and noticed when booting (black screen) and watching dvd's that the backlight bleed was bad and on black screen it always had a shade of gray over it. So I am now awaiting them to first agree with me that the backlight is bad and second send out a replacement.
The next upgrade I am wanting is a new Graphics Card (8800 GTX) and then a better HDD setup, perhaps raid, or to start off with a single drive at 10,000 rpm.
As far as Scan go as a customer they are excellent. (however my mind may be changed once they have tested the monitor :)). But so far they have been excellent, I also only recently realised they had a free shipping offer for forum members which is also an added benefit.
Looks like you have yourself a very nice system - Direct X 10 ready too. All you need to do (if you haven't already) is get yourself a copy of Vista and your computing experience will be amazing.

Scan:
Is my monitor going to be looked at today? I have messaged and emailed however I have not heard anything back.
I am sorry for being impatient, its just that I have work today and can't really do it without a monitor :(
Thanks,
Mark

Ill take a look at both RMAs and try to speed them along as much as I can however I cannot promise anything.
Also on a side note a turn around for a normal RMA is around 3-5days.

Sorry Philipp I didn't realise that was the usual turnaround. When I have previously been in contact I was tol that it gets looked at the day they receive the package or the day after.
Sorry, but much appreciated once again.
Thanks :)

Please PM me your RMA number,
Thanks
-
markbrown83,
Not a problem :)
We do aim to look at returns as fast as possible and get the replacement dispatched without delay however sometimes it takes that bit longer :)
You have PM btw.

Very impressive tbh ermm not.

Maybe stop being so aggressive and let them get on with it? You aren't the centre of the universe, contrary to your own belief and thus they have other people to deal with...

Cozwin,
I have been trying to help you via PM however have just received aggressive and rude responses,
As I informed you on Friday at 5.00
