    Impulse buys

Ok, I've got money burning a whole in my pocket, and I need some CDRs. But £20 of CDRs may be excessive. Might get some DVDRW though for data. ANYWAY.

What can someone recommend on scan thats good when I don't actually need anything. Last time it was a usb 4 port hub just so I can plug my keyboard and mouse into something on my desk rather than behind my computer. Running out of things .

I know my drive supports all three, but have no clue which is best. Except the RAM is expensive lol

I've used Verbatim and Maxell DVD-Rs (200+ of the latter) in the past, not one coaster, so they would be my recommendations. Not a clue if Scan sell them though

    Things to waste money on:

    Molex Splitters - incredibly useful
Network Cables - always using them, or giving them to people who have broken theirs.
Flash pens - insanely useful for transporting data, ridiculously cheap now aswell
USB Extension Cables - perfect for when that cable *just* won't reach

Few ideas for you there, anyhow...

I've got 25 DVD-R and 25 DVD+R (couldn't figure out which was best! cost £7 for the lot though, infiniti and dataon. Just need some CDs for well, burning CDs for friends (unless theres a clever way to fit 4 cd .isos on a DVD and have them all functioning properly?) and they're cheap enough. And some rewritable DVD media to use for backing up my documents. Apparently DVD RAM is good for this too.

Why not get one of the following items from Here to bump it up a little.

Or alternatively, a 1 Gb pendrive with readyboost so when you have your USB hub in you can connect a few of these to improve vista's performance
