Recommend me a graphic card Mr Scan blokey :)

Endlessly reading about different cards on the web and i'm close to going mental.

So, can you tell me which PCI-E cards you sell that fufill my criteria:

    - it's going in a HTPC (so will need to do MPEG decoding I guess)
    - relatively cheap if possible.
    - fanless if possible (or very quiet - willing to mod if necessary)
    - has DVI out
    - has component video out - i.e. Y'PbPr. In the immediate future i'll be using 480p on my CRT tv with component yer'see. Lots of cards say 'HDTV' and just have stinky s-video - component is world's apart in quality
    - capable of 1920x1080 (full HD). I'm probably going to get a HDMI equipped panel that does 1080p in a month or two.
    - don't give a stuff about 3d but if it's there then that's nice.

Thank you in advance to anyone who can help

Pricey, but has an HDMI connector

There are a few 7300's with composite connections on the scan site too, for cheaper.

Seems quite a good suggestion So would I be able to hook that up component (Y'PbPr) to the three component inputs on my current set? The problem is i've never sure what actually comes with a card in terms of cables/breakout boxes etc!

On another site it says contents is:

    "GV-NX76T256HI-RH Video Card
    HDTV Breakout Cable
    DVI to VGA adapter
    HDMI to DVI adapter
    6' HDMI Cable
    Manual
    Drivers CD"

    Is that right?

If you click Here you will use the advanced search we have which lists all the graphics cards on the system as having a composite output.

Cheers Lee but i don't want composite out

What I need to know is which card will come with a break-out box giving me component out (three RCA style plugs all for video alone). The above suggestion appears to but I can't see that info your site (this is not uncommon for vendors tbh and even GB's own webpage is rubbish in that respect).

You'd probably want to get a card enabled for HDCP, unless you run an app like AnyDVD.
