Sorry but there's no date on the system as yet, but I've just spoken to purchasing and he has said they should be here Weds/Thurs.

I recommend that you place an order and it will ship when they get them in. I (pre)ordered on Wednesday, shipped Thursday, arrived Friday.
You can always cancel the order if it takes too long. Just remember that you can't order it by itself as it won't qualify for free shipping.

I placed an order a week last Sunday which included one of these. I received an email saying they were in stock on the Tuesday but my finance application wasn't approved till Wednesday so I missed the boat as they were out of stock again!
This time lucky...
Any update? Ocuk has them in stock, and on special for £3.50 less....if i didnt hate em id have re-ordered it there by now ;p
My order didn't ship due to this and the EVGA 680i mobo yesterday ;) Was hoping to get it built this weekend but I can wait, might just have to order my watercooling and get modding my new Lian-Li PC-V2100 to fit instead :)
There's no update on the system and the purchasing guy who deals with optical drives is not back now till Tuesday.
As soon as I get an update from him I'll let you know regarding the DVD writer.

Impatience got the better of me and I switched to the Samsung SATA drive with light scribe.
It's not a Pioneer but it is a Samsung.
Ive got one of those already ;p

Ok, i see you have the beige one in at last....any ETA on the black one ? I cancelled my original order (made over 2 months ago). OCUK have it in stock today for almost £5 less, might actually have to shop there once more at this rate :(
