Here we go again I hear you cry!!
Me too!
Trying to order an HP 7210 Multifunction (for which Scan is the cheapest online deal by far, saving between £18 and £120+ depending where you shop, well done guys), and although I'm SURE I've received free shipping on one order before, I couldn't remember the details so read up on the stickies. Ahah, linkage. Follow linkage, try to log in. Oh no, hexus account no recognised. Invalid email address. So I check my email address.
Nope, definately right, maybe it's invalid 'cause it's got a hyphen in it.
So I change my email address, and it tells me that my address needs to be validated by clicking on the confirmation link in an email sent to aforementioned address. Ah, that's new. Haven't done that before for Hexus.
Await email. Get Email. Click Email. Great, validated address (it's only taken me 3.5 years to do this. A record?)
Return to scan sticky, follow link. Enter details. Click submit. Hexus account not recognised.
Doh!
Give up. Figure it takes Scan time to update the user account details to check the registered email address. Resign myself to wait until update is done.
Return to product page on scan, accidentally click 'checkout', and notice I've been taken directly to T&C, bypassing Login....which is obviously still on autologin from my previous Scan free shipping purchase many moons ago.
WTF?
So what was all that login nonsense? Anyway, I'm happy, just wondering what's going on with the run around?
And does scan sell the compatible duplexer for the 7210?
Bet no-one actually makes it down as far as the question 'cause you're all, and I have to create a new thread, just for that....
TIA
