    Paperwork

    Hi, no biggie, just that with my new dell 24", that came yesterday (and is one fine screen), I didn't get any of the usual paperwork with it. Will this affect me if I have to make a warrenty claim at some time?

    They usually stuff the paper work through the box handle or under the boxes lid etc. Check every crack and hole...

    @Vinny:

    I got my HDD today. However, I have to send back my motherboard as the NIC stopped working... doesn't detect the cable plugged in... really annoyed if I am honest!! This will be the second replacement motherboard.

    I'm envious vinny, I've had my eye on one of those monitors for a very long time, I might be getting one soon though.

    The only problem is I don't think my 7800GTX will cut it when trying to game at natural res, I could always do the unthinkable and lower some settings. So I'd really like a 8800GTX or something to go with it, thats like a £700 purchase altogether :S

    Yes, it took me ages to decide to actually buy it. At the moment I'm not using it to it's best advantage in games as i only have a 7800gt (still looks great at less than otimal res), going to have to wait a few months till I can afford a 8800gtx (was hoping that maybe amd/ati would release a card that is good comp for nvidia, but not so).

    If you want one get it, I can honestly say it's one of my better buys, and it's so much cheaper than when I first thought of getting it.

    Blitzen - mark did say it was off topic.

    Mark I hope you get your mobo sorted soon.

    Regards

    @Vinny, I actually changed the post to be off topic after his post. I think he is just being fussy but hey - you get them!

    RE: Motherboard - just cost me £20 to send it back to Scan and another £20 for the PSU.

    Oh - @Blitzen the above is OFFTOPIC!!
