building budget pc for my uncle, ive always used tagan power supplies for my other builds, so quick question do i stick with the Tagan or try the Silver Power.

Not the most demanding PC the spec is as follows :

am2 3600

1gb corsair xms 667 ( single stick )

160 gb samsung sata

samsung dvd rw ( ide )

Abit mobo

Another question, not 100% on the mobo, should i opt for a via chipset ? PC is used for ebay/internet/childs homework ( possibly might dump a gfx card so cousin can play the sims )

Stick with what you know to work tbh. Thats what i do
