I would recommend the Gigabyte cases, I have the Poseidon and I love it.
Good built-quality, nice looking and some of them even offer very cool features.
Gigabyte have a range of cases:

3D Aurora 570 - comes with Window & mesh side panel
3D Aurora - need to decide which panel you want (Window or mesh)
Poseidon - comes with window & mesh side panel
    Triton series - Mid-range cases
    The list goes on…

I would seriously look into Gigabyte has an option.

Why not check out the cases in more detail:

The Antec P180 or P182 (which I have). The cooling is fantastic - they come with three 120mm fans fitted and space for two more. The P182 has rubber grommets built into the back in case you want a liquid cooling system. Both cases are designed to keep hot components apart (the PSU sits at the bottom of the case) and the airflow is second to none. Plus, if you have any questions their Tech Support/Customer Support is brilliant (I mailed a question at 22.45 and got a reply timed at 00.26!).

    Cheers,
    Mike

Just be aware that the 8800GTX is a big card, and gives out some good heat, so make sure you get the right case to get and to keep that heat out.
I would not go too cheap on a case.

Gigabyte manufactures motherboards and graphics cards, so I think that they would understand the importance of keeping your PC cool. ;-)

That is a good point, I am looking at getting the Gigabyte case.... I think it is the best option and reviews say it is cool...

I read a review on the P182 and they say its nice and spacious etc but isn't the best at keeping cool...

You can't go wrong with a Gigabyte case as they are very good. The 3D Aurora 570 is an update to the 3D Aurora but it's about £30-40 more expensive and IMHO isn't worth it. I would stick to the 3D Aurora case and it should last you for years.

I also agree with other comments don't buy a cheap case as in the long run they aint worth it.

Yeah it's the first one Scan do and not the 570 which is pretty hard to find as a lot of places don't stock it. I'm not sure if Scan do the Aurora with a side window I think the one's they stock are the mesh sides.

Sorry for the slight hijack, but will the wavemaster fit a 8800 GTX?

Will get it next week - I will let you know what it is like once I have put it all together.

Yeah they are big but thats what makes them good for cooling and good for future expansion especially with new GFX cards.

    Alright guys.

I put everything in my case last night. All went really well. I have a few cuts on my hand but apart from that great! The front panel USB ports are a little hard to get to when the chassis door on the front is closed, but better than being on the side like the previous version.

The only problem I have had is with the front panel audio. I plugged that into my soundcard and it doesn't work?

I don't want to RMA the whole case just because of that - does anyone have any suggestions?

Over the next week I will upload some pictures

    Mark
