    Considering upgrading my case

    Hi guys,

Since buying my Geforce 8800gtx and getting a different motherboard my system has been running quite hot!

    Idle temps:
    GPU - approx 65'C
    CPU - approx 48'C
    M/B - approx 45'C

I am considering replacing my current case (LN11185) with one that provides better cooling and space for more fans.

Does anyone have any suggestions - I am looking to spend £50 to £100, if I can avoid it being at the top of that price range then the better.

    Thanks,

    Mark

I have just seen LN6500 on the Today only page. however, I won't be buying it today - so I won't save a tenner, and it has a door on the front - that could possibly annoy me.

Send me your 8800GTX problem sorted

I personally like LN11502 120mm fans front and rear.

Also the Wavemaster is a good choice.

    Regards

Not too sure really. I like the Antec 900.

LN11502 is silver and I would prefer black.

Possibly the coolmaster with the door.

And Philipp, no! Your not getting it!! It's my baby

Not to keen on the Antec 900 just from a looks point of view :S

I do like the gigabyte also I used to own a Thermaltake Tsunami alot like the wavemaster but was cheaper and had a 120mm fan at the front.

Im currently using LN14095 cheap and cheerfull its a good case However your 8800GTX wouldnt fit

Well I think it is either the antec 900 (maybe), coolmaster or the gigabyte... I presume all will take the 8800 gtx?

For me a £50+ case has to be a Lian-Li or a Silverstone. These cases are pure class. Build quality, space & ease af use are second to none, they are also very nice looking

the lian-li and silverstone cases are all very much like the TJ04, with clean aluminium etc. What you might call "boring" but I call "elegant"
