Nice price, does this now mean I have to order one

Would I gain much by going from a E6600 to a quad core with the current game etc requirements?

And now would be a good time to bring this back up, you most likely wont see the new G0 steppings for a few weeks tbh, and as already said they seem to make no difference.

Great, thought I'd have to wait til monday...

scan, you should put this on a mixit bundle as well, as many people will be changing motherboard at the same time...

Totally lost what is GO Steppings?

Also what is a good heatsink for these as I've heard the stock one isn't too good for Quad Cores

Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro / LN13080 @ £15.97 Inc VAT is a good choice! or....

Zalman CNPS9700-LED Super Aero Flower / LN16149 @ £33.95 Inc VAT is better but less wallet friendly

    ati,

As we source the processors from several different suppliers and we usually have therefore mixed batches in the warehouse at any time it would be very difficult for us to confirm a stepping code, If you like I could try and check the stepping codes from the stock we have available if you like
