    Where are the corsair PSUs?

I'm just putting a new box together and I was planning on ordering the parts from Scan but you don't have any 620w corsair PSUs in stock and you haven't for more than a week over the ETA!

What's going on? When will they come in to stock? Or will I have to order from elsewhere if i want one very soon?

Can we have some confirmation of what cables these new stock of 620 and 520s come with?

New stock at OcUK was now arriving with 6pin/8pin PCIe connectors. The Scan spec still shows the old listing.

    Cheers,

    Mike

Would it help if I beg for this to please make it onto the 'Today Only' section for this coming weekend as I know a lot of people (including myself) who are after the 520w version of the PSU! Any saving offered will probably lead to you selling out. If you could let us know what the chances are I'll pass the word on and hopefully bring some more custom Scan's way! Just trying to help

That's not an issue for me fortunately Mike, besides didn't someone from Scan say that it was possible to return it if it wasn't as expected and that you'd just have to pay for the return post back to Scan etc? If the saving is such that the discount would pay for the return postage it's probably worth a punt surely?

I'm just happy to think that it may be available tomorrow and at long last I can power up my AGP X1950 video card and hope to play a newish game on my PC for a change!! I've got everything crossed for tomorrow

Well they will let me return it. I only have a X1900XT at the moment but in the next few months that may change to a card which ideally needs a 8Pin PCIe connector. It seems the cost of getting such a connector direct from Corsair in the US is cost prohibitive and I don't want to spend £60 on a PSU to find I have to either spend lots to get a lead in the future or have to replace it this year.

I always like to future proof myself as much as I can. This is a no brainer for me. If the unit does not come with an 8Pin PCIe cable then I wont be buying one.

I believe all the new stock come with a 6 + 8 pin PCI-E's. Mine just turned up and has both.

You didnt buy from Scan though did you? The Scan website still quotes 2xPCIe 6pin on the spec sheet. So I am still not convinced.
