    Asus P5K Premium

Is there an ETA on the Asus P5K Premium motherboard? I've heard it could be due for retail very soon?

Cheers, a few people are benching them on forums so they must be almost ready for retail.

Please could you also check on the Asus Blitz Formula (not the Asus Blitz Formula Special Edition) while you are at it?

    Thanks, Anthony

Hi, Whats the advantage of the Premium over the Deluxe? I checked the website and could not make head not tail of it.

    Check this out here.
The main reason I am interested in it over the deluxe is it will probably only be about £10 more and I would have to spend that on getting the bios on the Deluxe updated to ensure G0 compatibility whereas the Premium should definately be shipping with compatible bios so it would be a slightly better board for what should be about the same price.

Ahh that makes sense, I only had my Deluxe a month or so but couldnt see a specification difference between those two boards.

Heh a quote from that Forum But as you say, the BIOS route makes perfect sense I guess.

the p5k-dlx already kicks ass ...this board is basically identical in a nicer box and a price markup.

i expect to see this on april 1st to be honest but that's asus for ya.

Yes it certainly isn't worth forking out a lot more for it than the Deluxe but it appears to be a bit more stable when overclocked and due to not having to pay £10 for a bios update it would be a better board for probably the same or similar money.

This product has been created under LN 19462

We are just confirming our buy price and the ETA - We can then make this product live to pre-order via our web site

I can't seem to find the model you are looking for via the Asus site " Asus Blitz Formula "

    http://www.asus.com/search.aspx?sear...earchkey=blitz

Please could you re-check the model, or do you have a link to the product you are looking for ..

    Best Regards
