    Delivery fees?

    What exactly are Scan's delivery fees? I've rummaged around on their site but I've yet to find anything.

    It pretty much depends on the weight as well as how quick you want the item.
    Have some of that

    I've played around with moving stuff in/out of the purchase basket and the only thing I see without looking into it too much is that it's some sort of continuous weight evaluation; add a CPU=a few pence extra, add a monitor=a few quid extra. Looks like it's linear increase as well.

    I am looking for what the actual rates are, like £/kg or as such for all the various delivery levels.

    http://www.scan.co.uk/delivery/

    You will have to add the items to the basket. It will show you the carriage cost for the standard service which is City Pack: All Day Delivery by 17:30. This is a next day service from date of despatch not next day from date of order.

    In the next stage of the checkout you can select a delivery date and view the other carriage options. You dont have to enter payment details to view this.

    Scan also let you arrange your own courier to pick up your order.

    Thanks, it does somewhat. I'm looking for these prices so I have readily access to them when shopping around for parts. Like I'm doing right now

      • Monitor(s):
      • Big widescreen will do

    The only thing that link I posted does not show is the weight, ie if you brought a GFX and a PSU at the same time due to it's weight it would be about £10.00 plus vat.

    /what a shame that scan don't like the post about there own carriage prices, it could be of some use for people but then again never mind
