Asus P5K Deluxe due date ?

when you are expecting to have Asus P5K Deluxe/WiFi-AP back in stock ? I ordered this main board on Monday and got a not stock message from you. If you are not going to have it in stock next week , could I swap the main board for some thing else ?

We were expecting the delivery on 31/07/07, we are currently chasing this with our suppliers as the boards did not arrive on the last PO

I can see a confirmation e-mailed sent on 01/08/07.

I have PM'd the e-mail address we have to confirm this is correct

Sorry but at the present time we do not have an update from the suppliers as to when this would be arriving as they are overdue since the 31st.

As soon as we get an update the information will be updated on the website accordingly.

while I appriciate the issues within a supply chain environment, you've ordered a product due to arrive in on 31st of last month. People, a few here at least, appear to have purchased that item based on you selling stock that was due in, now its not in stock, although frustrating, it happens, but its not in stock beacause your supplier didn't include it in the delivery and they can't tell you a.) why you didn't get these items b.) when your going to get these items ? Your supplier has had over a week now to give updates on this situation for you to pass on to your customers and this information does not appear forth coming.

Its a fair bit of a request to ask for customer who have purchased these items from you to just sit and hang on with out any explination as to why this situation happened or even an idea of when these items will be back in stock with you.

I find it hard to accept that something that you where expecting in a delivery just didn't turn up - and now there is no more information than that ?

Have you been let down by your supplier ? is your supplier having trouble sourcing stock ?

Checking the stock for this item, it looks as thought the first distibutor we use is still currently out of stock with no ETA as we have no revised date from them as yet.

We have therefore place an order with another distributor and the stock of the P5K Deluxe is expected to arrive with us tomorrow.

What are they odds of it coming in tommorow ?

the only reason I'm pushing is I'm 30 seconds away from hitting "order" from kustomPC's who like scan are another e-tailer I treat as a respected brand.

The replacement supplier is generally very reliable as we get deliveries from them all the time, all usually on time

well this is now utter crap - it has to be said.

The scan website has changed to "over due scine 08/07/07" which was yesterday so I guess another supplier has let down scan.....<sarcasm> wow I must say scan seem to be having a lot of problems with stock in general and suppliers seem to be letting them down an awful lot on just the most random items not just these boards </sarcasm>

Scan - come on, whats going on another supplier has let you down on this order too ???
