Basically I'm revamping an old server case as a bit of a project and the one thing that is sorly lacking is some front USB ports.
Thios sounds like a rear case blank with 2 USB ports on it that connect onto the motherboard USB headers.

Is this an accurate discription?

How easy would it be to dismantle, so I could fit the USB ports to the front of the case?

Could someone please pop down to the store room with a digital camera and take a couple of photos so I can see what this looks like?

Would something like this (black) or this (silver) be a better option for you? You'll get front-USB ports then, and you don't have to use the other ports if you don't want to or don't have the connections on the motherboard.

Unfortuneatly there's only one 3.5" bay on this case and two 5.25" bays
In the 5.25" bays I'm going to put a dvd-rw and a zalman fan controller
I'm planning to use ether a floppy or a susi optical disk drive in the 3.5".

That and it's more fun to not do things the easy way

Heck to it I had to order other bits so I took a risk on it, also ordered a couple of USB extention cables so if worst comes to worst I can run them back through the case and in at the back.
Not massively pritty or elegant but it works.

Well I've got it today the two USB connectors are seperate and held on to the back plate with screws just what I needed to mod my case with.

Although the leads are rather short about 150mm/6" in length, not sure they will reach. I'll have to check and see.
