Akasa Eclipse 62 question for Scan

I am seriously looking at buying this case but had one quick query. As far as I am aware, the latest stock of these cases include 2 x 120mm fans. However, the description on the Scan site says no fans are included.

Could you just please clarify whether your stock of this case includes the fans or not.

    Many thanks!

Re: Akasa Eclipse 62 question for Scan

I ordered a eclipse from, ebuyer and it came with case fans...but they weren't the quietest in the world...if you are wanting a quiet pc...look at the 120 akasa amber fans...they are very very quiet and still push lots of air...and scan have a load of akasa stuff on today only atm

Re: Akasa Eclipse 62 question for Scan

Thanks guys, I know that other retailers do include the fans (even though the earlier spec didn't). It would be nice if someone from Scan could find this out as I'd like to buy from them. Although if no one is getting back to me, I can see what message I am getting from them. It's taken over three weeks and yet I've still had no answer...

Cheers for that TMD, I probably will look to upgrade the fans although I wasn't planning on doing so at the outset, which is why I wanted to know if they had any included at all.

Re: Akasa Eclipse 62 question for Scan

    The website shows the following information regarding that chassis ;

    Code:
    Fan Bays: 2 x 120mm

    Fans Included: None
As such I'd expect it to have no 120mm supplied with it.

    Best Regards,

Re: Akasa Eclipse 62 question for Scan

The case you are looking for is the Eclipse V2, there was a recent press announcement to say this was coming and it would ship as standard with 2 x 120mm Amber fans.

I would anticipate that these aren't in the channel yet, but I would also presume when they are that retailers would identify them with the V2 insignia Akasa has branded the case release as.

    HTH

    Matt.
Please do not message me about Scan Free shipping, I no longer work for HEXUS.net

Re: Akasa Eclipse 62 question for Scan

The Mirage has started coming with fans, if the ones in the Mirage are the same in the Eclipse I'd just ignore it and buy your own anyway, they're not very good at all. (same serial no. as the smoke grey and blue akasa fans)

Re: Akasa Eclipse 62 question for Scan

Thanks very much guys that's very helpful!

MD - Thanks for the headsup, I had no idea that there was a revision of the Akasa Eclipse V2. I've attached the details below for information purposes. I'm glad I waited a few weeks now as the extra ventilation on the top should mean that the case is even better ventilated than before!

Lee@Scan - Any idea when you will be stocking these?
