Delivery Question

Last week i orderd some stuff from scan and it said that it would be delivered by CityLink. But when it was delivered (Ontime as always ) it was deilvered by some guy in a white van, not City Link, was there any reason for this or was it citylink having a problem?

City Link do this quite often IME, I understand that they're contract drivers who work for City Link when they're short of regular staff.

One of the reasons City Link's service is so variable is that the areas are franchised out and IME the contract drivers sometimes don't give a damn.

Every carrier company does this, either because of the need for extra staff that day, or because vans have broken down and they're renting spares.
