    Re: Thermalright Ultima-90 heatsink - Likely ?

Oh, and one thing I should have mentioned - those YS-Tech fans are definately not the quietest around to say the least, but they do push out a hell of alot of air!

Mind you they are quieter than the 80mm Vantec Tornados I have cooling the Dynatron HS's on my Dual-Quad X5340 Clovertown system

Well, my Scythe S-Flex 1600rpm is not quiet either but according to reviews is the best of the best

    Re: Thermalright Ultima-90 heatsink - Likely ?

If Scan stocked the Ultima-90, I would buy one. I've purchased a few Thermalright products in the past and their quality is very good, especially compared to, say Thermaltake.

Scythe and Thermalright are the big two in cooling for me.

    Re: Thermalright Ultima-90 heatsink - Likely ?

I ordered the majority (8:2) of my PC parts from Scan for my new system. I would have loved to have bought it all from there! The two things I bought from OcUK were Antec Quattro 850W & Thermalright Ultima-90i. Would be nice to see the cooler on Scan - i'm sure it would be very popular - not so sure about the PSU, people seem to prefer Corsair etc .

    Re: Thermalright Ultima-90 heatsink - Likely ?

I don't really know why people buy such big PSUs. I think it is all a marketing plot. I've got a Tagan 480w PSU and that is powering my system with ease (the one you can see on my sig) plus another 160g SATA HD with no problems at all. Why on earth would you buy an 850W!!!??? An 500/580 would have been plenty

All my quads run quite happily with quality 520W PSU's - but I suppose it does future proof things especially as the latest GPU's are getting more and more power hungry, especially if running 2 in SLi mode.

Question Re: Thermalright Ultima-90 heatsink - 92mm Fan Suggestions?

What is the best 92mm fan I could ge for this CPU Cooler?

The review used AnandTech review used:
Panaflo H1A 92mm (BX) with RPM Sensor

Where ca I buy a 92mm Panaflo in the UK?

If Panaflo 92's are not available in the UK, what 92mm is as good or is better? Thanks

    Re: Thermalright Ultima-90 heatsink - Likely ?

And while we're here, what would be a decent alternative to the 120mm Scythe S-FLEX SFF21F. The Sharkoons are cheaper, are they on a par for quietness and shifting of air ?

Yus, thats my plan. I had a generic beige box before my latest build, so I decided to get a futureproof PSU and will be reusing my P182 and PSU in future builds .

Also the Thermalright SI-128 SE looks like an awesome cooler. If you do decide to stock Thermalright then it would be great to see these too, especially because the free delivery really helps out on the overall price of components!

HR-01 Plus also looks like a great HS. Please Scan, may you stock Thermalright!?

    And the HR-11...

Another vote for more thermalright products. Ultima 90i especially, really wanna get rid of this thermaltake. The bracket for 939s would be nice too btw
