Question Noob Needs Cheap AMD Build Help Please

Hi to one and all ... I know this is my first post but i would appreciate some help from you experts.

I'm trying to build a budget PC for my little girl, all she will be using it for is Surfing and Playing the odd Kids Game, I've been through the Scan product list and this is what i've come up with:

    LN17436 AMD AM2 Athlon 64 4000+ Socket AM2 2.1Ghz 2x512Kb Cache
    LN19023 Abit AN-M2 NF630a S AM2 PCI-E(x16) DDR2 800 uATX On Board VGA
    LN10408 1GB (2x512Mb) CorsairTwinX XMS2 DDR2 PC2-6400 (800)
    LN12077 400W Enermax Liberty Modular Series ELT400AWT
    LN17756 160Gb Maxtor DiamondMax 21 SATA 300 8MB Cache

I have a 15inch TFT Monitor, an IDE DVD Writer, A Suitable Case, Keyboard & Mouse

Will the products i've selected work together or have I made any glaringly obvious mistakes?

I'm not too clued with with the new AM2 boards and just need a bit of reasurance.

    Thank you!

should be fine (I've got that CPU in the HD version of that board) although 2Gb (2x1Gb) RAM would be better if you can find the extra £s especially as the integrated gfx uses system RAM.

Looks good to me, but I would recommend not buying a Maxtor disk. For an extra 66p you can get an IBM/Hitachi, and for an extra £3 odd you can get a Western Digital, and for an extra £5 theres the faster Seagate Barracuda. Or for just £8 odd, you can get that 200gig western digi. Better brand, and an extra 40 gig. If space is not important though, I would still suggest not getting the Maxtor.

If your trying to get the price down, as the rig is surfer-low end game, try XMS2-667 2x512mb or 2x1gb. (What OS are u intending here? XP will be more than fine in 1gb even with onboard vga for the intended use, vista will benefit from more)
The Scan EZCool 450w PSU can save u some ££ as well.
Lots of people recommend Samsung SATA drives for low heat/quietness
Dont forget an SATA cable in ur order too, and maybe a round IDE for the DVDRW to improve airflows if the case is mATX.

Thanks for that mate, I've made the swap to the EZ Cool Power Supply, I think i'll keep the memory as it is as theres only a 10quid difference ...

thanks for looking in to it though ... much appreciated!
