Re: Computer still not stable at stock

I had a long running RMA with Scan a while ago where I kept saying that the memory was in error but they said it wasn't. In the end, I downloaded memtest and sure enough, it passed ok. But the other memory test software I was using failed after about 2 minutes.

I really wish I could remember which software I used .....

There is a Microsoft patch for this bug which reportedly completely fixed the crashing issue with VISTA.... search using the error message... if you can't find it let me know and I will dig up the URL...
Try to make each and every day the best it can be.

Try testing the RAM with Prime95 from in side Windows. That will load up the RAM and CPU

Is that the Vista memory hotfix? I think I tried that and I am sure 3DMark still wasnt happy on my machine. I just gave up using 3DMark in the end. lol

If its not that I would be interested to know of another patch.

    Cheers,

    Mike
